FAQs

PRE ORDER AND TIMINGS - HOW IT WORKS

Here are the stages:

  1. The pre-order window will run for 2 weeks from Wednesday 18th November 20:00 GMT to Wednesday 2nd December 20:00 GMT.

  2. After this, items will be sent to production for two weeks.

  3. All items will be dispatched between the 16-18th December. Please understand that these are approximate dates due to production being completed during peak periods.

We will keep you up to date throughout the process via social media and will confirm via email when the order has been despatched and is on its way to you.

For delivery times once production has been completed, please see here.

If you have any questions please contact: merch.solvofficial@gmail.com

We are running these items for pre-order to be as environmentally friendly as possible, we only want to print/make the exact quantity of what will be sold.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

If you have placed an order but need to change the delivery address, you must request this change via email. The address for this is merch.solvofficial@gmail.com. Please note that we are unable to amend the address of the item once we have confirmed dispatch.

BULK ORDERS (5+ T-SHIRTS)

If you are buying more than 5 T-shirts, please contact: merch.solvofficial@gmail.com. If you have already placed an order for more than 5, we will be in contact within 24 hours of your purchase but please also email us.

MY DELIVERY HASN’T ARRIVED

You will be sent an email to confirm when your order has been dispatched. Once you have received this, please wait until our expected delivery time has elapsed.

Please check if your local post office is holding the package for you. They may not have been able to fit your package through your letterbox and taken it for you to collect from the depot. They should leave a card to say that delivery has been attempted. If they return the package to us because you did not pick it up at the post office, the order will be returned to stock and you will be refunded for the goods less the postage and packing charge. If you still require the order then please contact us at merch.solvofficial@gmail.com.

Before contacting us, please check your expected delivery time has elapsed. If this has elapsed please contact: merch.solvofficial@gmail.com

CAN I REQUEST AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND?

Items available for pre-order have a finite window for purchase. At the end of this period, the items are then produced and shipped. Because we only produce the exact amount purchased of any given item and do not hold any excess stock we can not offer an exchange.

However, you are able to amend the size of your t-shirt up until the end of the pre-order window. This can be done by email: merch.solvofficial@gmail.com. Please contact before the date of the pre-order window closing on Wednesday 2nd December. We will not be able to change the size after this time so please make sure you have selected the correct one.

Please see our T-shirt size chart here.

We can only offer a refund if the item itself has arrived damaged. In this case, we may ask you to ship the damaged item back to us and we will issue a full refund.

MY ITEM HAS ARRIVED DAMAGED

If your items arrive damaged, we will either issue a full refund including postage or ship you a replacement. We may ask you to return the damaged item to us before we can take further action. Please contact us at merch.solvofficial@gmail.com with picture evidence and we will let you how to proceed.

WRONG ITEM HAS BEEN DELIVERED

If you have received incorrect items in you order please contact us at merch.solvofficial@gmail.com

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?

We will be able to cancel your order or any item from your order and issue a refund providing the order is still within the pre-order window. Please contact: merch.solvofficial@gmail.com for more information or to cancel your order.

T-SHIRT CARE

ALWAYS BE GENTLE!

The best mantra for washing your T-shirt – or any item of clothing for that matter – is: be gentle. Treat your garment with care and it will hold its shape better and maintain the print colour for longer too.

Ideally, you want to wash garments as little as possible. Not only is it all part of treating them gently, but it’s better for the planet too. Every wash makes a difference.

KEEP IT FRESH BETWEEN WASHES

Now we’re not advocating that you never wash your clothes, but with the planet in mind, we do have a few tips to help tide over your favourite pieces between washes.

Air It Out: Hanging garments up in a well ventilated space will let air circulate through the fibres, freshening up garments that have started to smell a little stale. This one is especially good for tees that have spent the night in the smoking area – think of it as letting your clothes breath.

Spot Treating: You put on a freshly washed T-shirt, only to near-instantly spill something on it? Enter spot treating, a method which essentially involves treating individual stains as they spring up. There’s a whole range of techniques and cleaning combinations you can try depending on what you’ve spilt (glycerin for ballpoint pen, anyone?) but by and large, a mixture of detergent in warm water is a good starting point.

Wash Sparingly: In general, hoodies and sweatshirts, which aren’t worn directly next to the skin, will need fewer washes between wears than T-shirts, which are. Give thought to how you wear each garment, and think in terms of a wear-by-wear basis too, rather than putting a load on every couple of days no matter how often you’ve worn things.

WHEN WASHING, ALWAYS:

Wash cold: Keep it to 30° (or even colder) it can lead to big energy savings even compared to 40°.

Wash with similar colours

Wash Inside Out: It helps keep the print (and colour fabric) from fading.

Iron inside out on a low setting: It keeps the print safe from being burnt, warped or faded unnecessarily.

DO NOT:

  • Don’t tumble Dry: Bad for the environment and for your T-shirt too. To keep garments lasting for longer avoid tumble drying at all costs.

  • Don’t use too much detergent: Be sparing with detergent (within reason) – the less detergent the less damage to your garment and the planet.
